2016 Families First Awards
It was a privilege to attend the 2016 Families First awards in Belfast and present the awards for both Teacher of the Year and School of the Year. Congratulations to all the winners for their well-deserved awards on what was a fantastic night.
During the course of the evening, I was interviewed (00:42 – 00:52) on the value of teachers and the privilege of presenting these awards to recognise teachers the need to value teachers.

SC: I am a teacher, so I know how important it is to find really amazing teachers and it was an honour and a privilege to present the awards tonight to these people, because I know how much teaching is valued and how much we should value teachers.
